A Sampling of What's Happening at the Whitman County Library
for the week of February 27, 2014

 

Monday, March 3

Colton – 10:30 a.m. – Storytime – Children are invited to learn and explore through letters, numbers, books and crafts every Monday.

St. John – 2:30 to 4 p.m. – E-Reader Class – Learn how to download and checkout audiobooks and e-books onto your electronic device using the library’s website.

Tuesday, March 4

LaCrosse – 10 to 11:30 a.m. – Play & Learn – Creative play and sharing for toddlers, preschoolers and parents every Tuesday.

Wednesday, March 5

Garfield, Malden & Oakesdale – Storytime – Bring in the little ones for fun stories, songs and more every Wednesday.

Thursday, March 6

Palouse – 3:45 to 5 p.m. – After School Homework and Game Time – The Center for Civic Engagement (WSU) students will be available to assist 4th graders and up with their homework. Afterwards, there will be time for board and/or video games.

Colfax – 7 p.m. – Meet the Artist – Meet acclaimed artist Laurel Macdonald as she shares her techniques and secrets of her award winning designs.

It’s Food for Fines at Whitman County Library. Library users are invited to exchange non-perishable food items for up to $10 in outstanding library fines.
