Thursday, May 23

Colfax – 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. – Community Blood Drive – Help give the gift of life.

Endicott – 7 p.m. – Book Club – Join the discussion of Jeanette Walls’, “The Glass Castle” at the newly remodeled Endicott Library.

Albion & LaCrosse – After School Program – Exciting after-school programs in two locations. Check the calendar for times and themes.

Rosalia – 7 to 8:30 p.m. – Picture Books on Parade – Join Kathy Wilkes for a fun and informative evening on using picture books for literacy and as a stepping stone to learning.

Friday, May 24

Colfax & Tekoa – Play & Learn – Creative play and sharing for preschoolers and parents every Friday.

Saturday, May 25

All branches of Whitman County Library closed for Memorial Day Weekend.

Sunday, May 26

All branches of Whitman County Library closed for Memorial Day Weekend.

Monday, May 27

All branches of Whitman County Library closed for Memorial Day Weekend.

Tuesday, May 28

Farmington, Palouse & Rosalia – Storytime - Fun stories, finger plays, rhymes, songs and crafts every Tuesday. Check the calendar for times and themes.

St. John – Noon – Container Gardening – Learn how to add beauty in a limited space with horticulturalist Donna Hansen.

Wednesday, May 29

Colfax – Noon to 1 p.m. – Make Garden Markers with Spoons – Bring a sack lunch or just come make garden markers with Judi Gray from Whitman County Recycling.

Oakesdale & Tekoa – Cooking Classes – Chef Carrie Johnson shares nutritious and easy recipes including demonstrations and tasting. Check the calendar for times and topics.

Colton & Uniontown – 6 p.m. – Book Club – Join the discussion of Jamie Ford’s “Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet” at the Uniontown Library.

Thursday, May 30

Endicott – 5 to 7 p.m. – Grand Re-Opening – Join your friends, neighbors, family in the Grand Re-Opening celebration of the Endicott Library.
