Monday, April 15

Garfield – 4:30 p.m. – Duct Tape Wallets – Teens are invited to make cool wallets out of duct tape.

LaCrosse – 5 to 7 p.m. – Container and Vertical Gardening Workshop – Don’t have a big yard? Learn how to still raise flowers and vegetables on the patio.

Tuesday, April 16

Colfax – 4 p.m. – Board of Trustees Meeting – Open to the public and residents area encourages to attend.

Wednesday, April 17

St. John – 12:30 to 2 p.m. – Schools Out – Learn how to make recycled crafts for your garden with Judi Gray. Kids in grades 1 and older are invited to this program.

Colfax – 3 to 4 p.m. – Poetry Open Mic – Come celebrate National Poetry Month and National Library Week with an hour of open mic.

Thursday, April 18

Colfax, Farmington & LaCrosse –3rd Thursday Clubs – Exciting after school programs in three locations. Check the calendar for times and themes.

Colfax – 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. – Indian Wars of 1858, sign up online prior to the class.

Rosalia – 7 to 9 p.m. – Adult Game Night – Join your friends and spend an evening playing games for free at the library.

Friday, April 19

Colfax & Tekoa – Play & Learn – Creative play and sharing for preschoolers and parents every Friday.

Saturday, April 20

Colfax – 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Family Fair in Pullman – Join Whitman County Library for the 17th Annual Family Fair at the Lincoln Middle School.

Oakesdale & Rosalia – Gardening Classes – Horticulturist Donna Hansen teaches a series of gardening classes in two locations. Check the Events Calendar for topics and times.

Monday, April 22

St. John – Noon – Social Media for Adults – Need help understanding Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest? How to post, what to post and what not to post? An expert will be available to help answer all your questions.

Colfax & Garfield – Earth Day Craft – Celebrate Earth Day at the library in two locations. Check the calendar for times and ages.

Endicott & LaCrosse – Gardening Classes – Horticulturist Donna Hansen teaches gardening classes in two locations. Check the Events Calendar for topics and times.

Palouse – Turkey Leg Storytime – New Turkey Leg Books, 4 special storytimes and storytellers. Check the calendar for times and guests.

Colfax – Noon to 1 p.m. – Earth Day – Learn about waste free lunches and “upcycle” some old silverware into garden markers with Judi Gray.
