Monday, Dec 31

Colton & Garfield – Game Day – Shake off your winter dreariness and come enjoy board and card games with friends in 2 locations. Check the Events Calendar for times.

All Branches close at 3 p.m. in celebration of the New Year.

All Branches closed in celebration of the New Year.

Wednesday, Jan 2

Garfield – 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. – Teen Hand Warmer Project – With felt, some rice and felt, teens will make cool and awesome hand warmers to tuck in their pockets.

Thursday, Jan. 3

Colfax, LaCrosse & Tekoa - Storytime – Fun stories, finger plays, rhymes, songs and crafts every Thursday. Check the calendar for times and themes.

Friday, Jan. 4

Colfax & Tekoa – 10 to 11:30 a.m. – Play & Learn – Creative play and sharing for preschoolers and parents every Friday.

Saturday, Jan 5

Rosalia – 9 a.m. – Welcome to Saturday Hours! – Join the fun and celebrate the return of Saturday Hours to Alice Porter Memorial Library. Refreshments provided by the generous Friends of Rosalia Library.

Monday, Jan 7

Colfax – Noon – Otto O. Stevens presents his Palouse area photography “South of Spokane.” This presentation features 180 of his favorite photos of the Palouse and Southeast Washington taken during the spring of 2012.

St. John – 5 p.m. – Family Storytime – Libraian Clancy and Storyteller Mrs. McGillicutty invite everyone for Family Storytime. Come are you are, pearls or pajamas, and enjoy stories and activities for the whole family.

Tuesday, Jan 8

Malden – 1-3 p.m.- Knit Wits – A needlecraft group that meets every Tuesday. Comprised of every level from beginner to advanced in crochet and knitting. Contact Branch Manager, Shannon at (509) 569-3771 for more information and location.

Wednesday, Jan 9

Colfax – 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. – E-reader Class - Learn how to download e-books and audio books from the library’s website.

Thursday, Jan 10

Albion – 6:30 p.m. – Game Night – Come get “Board” at the library during Family Game Night. Bring a favorite board game or borrow one of ours.
