What's happening for the week of February 09, 2012
Youths in grades 1-4 are invited to 3rd Thursday’s “February Fun and Games” at the Colfax Library on February 16 from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Kids may ride bus #5 with a note from a parent to enjoy stories, crafts, games and more. No need to sign up or pre-register for this free monthly event.
All branches of Whitman County Library will close February 19-20 for President’s Day. Due dates have been extended and the library’s website services including online requesting, renewing, LiveMocha and a live chat librarian will still be available at the Whitman County Library website.
A community blood drive is set for Thursday, February 23 from 2-5:30 p.m. at the Colfax Library. Appointments are being taken by calling the library at (509) 397-4366 or online at www.inbcsaves.org. Priority is given to those with pre-scheduled appointments. Walk-ins are welcome on a first come, first serve basis with photo I.D. required.
Children’s Storytime happens each Thursday with Baby Time at 10:10 a.m., Toddler Time at 10:30 a.m. and Preschool Time at 11 a.m. Playgroup continues each Friday from 10-11:30 a.m. This free playtime is open to infants, toddlers, young children and those who care for them.

Tax forms from the Internal Revenue Service are available from the Colfax Branch of Whitman County Library. The library has added a convenient link to the IRS from our website at www.whitco.lib.wa.us or call directly at 877-733-3375 to inquire whether the library has received the form you need.
