The Thrifty Grandmother’s Club of Colfax was named Library Supporter of the Month during a Friends of the Library Luncheon held Tuesday, April 10 in the Norma McGregor Community Room of the Colfax Library. Library Trustee Bob Bates and Friends President Wanda Alderman presented the group’s award. The Grandmothers were commended for supporting projects throughout the community and library including Summer Reading programs, Hospital packets for parents of newborns, donations to the Colfax Renovation, Lacrosse Market/Library renovation and most recently to the Bettie Steiger Community Enrichment Center.    ...
