Check out a Nook SimpleTouch
Through the eREADS in eWashington program library
patrons can check out a NOOK Simple Touch, pre-loaded
with a selection of titles. The goal of the project is
to demystify the eReading experience for library patrons
and connect libraries through resource sharing.
Six library systems in a five-county area are participating. Patrons with a Whitman County Library card have the option of checking out one of the NOOKs. We are currently circulating 2 NOOKs, one containing Fantasy stories and one Thrillers/Suspense stories.
Currently, these NOOKs are only available for checkout from the Colfax Branch Library. Please call the Colfax Library at 509-397-4366 or toll-free at 877-733-3375 for questions or to be placed on the waiting list.
The project is funded through a grant from the Washington State Library and the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
