Virtual Reality
 

Travel to national parks, take a tour through the bloodstream, visit Mars, or see a T-Rex up close all without leaving the library!  Oculus Rift Virtual Reality (VR) headset with 14 different 3D experiences makes its way to the St. John, Oakesdale, Colton and Uniontown branches of Whitman County Library in June. 

VR branch schedule:

 St. John Library Monday June 10 2:30p.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Wednesday June 12 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

All participants must be age 13 and up with a signed waiver to experience a 3D adventure.  VR sessions continue at the Colfax Library every Wednesday 10 a.m.-7:00 p.m. through July, call 509-397-4366 for an appointment.  Virtual Reality programming made possible through Washington State Library "VR in Libraries" project.

Are you ready to immerse yourself inside virtual worlds???  Interact with a robot, see a T-Rex up close, travel to national parks, take a tour through the bloodstream????  Then VR is for you! Teens and Adults 13+ make an appointment to experience virtual reality today using Oculus Rift.  VR available each Wednesday 10:00am-7:30pm.

Drop by the library or call 397-4366 to schedule 30 minute session (10-20 minutes actual VR experience).  All participants must review health/safety guidelines and sign a waiver to participate.  Teens 13-17 must have guardian present to sign.
