In November of 2005 the residents of the town of St John
passed a $500,000 construction bond issue for a new Library /
City Hall building with an 80% majority. The planning and bid
phase of the project took place between February 2006 and
August 2007. In September 2007 a bid was accepted and contract
signed with Western States Construction. Actual construction
will begin by October 15. The project will be completed by
April 2008. Weekly construction pictures will be posted on
this website.

pledge to read ten
