What is a Friend?

The Friends of Whitman County Library is a nonprofit group interested in promoting the services and needs of the public library.

Members lend support through annual donations, the sale of their popular Cookbook, and taking an active role at used book sales and other library activities.

The Friends meet monthly on the fourth Tuesday at 11 am at the Colfax branch (102 S. Main). Meetings are open to anyone interested in building and improving library services.

"The only way to have a friend is to be one."   -Ralph Waldo Emerson
