All 14 branches of Whitman County Library will close Friday, May 13 for an all-staff training workshop and May 28-30 for Memorial Day.
Last summer, children across Whitman County read more than 5,000 hours while nearly 300 adults and teens read at least 3 books. Whitman County Library thinks we can do better! That’s why the library challenges residents of all ages to participate in Summer Reading 2016, “On Your Mark, Get Set ... Read!” This free, fun and educational Summer Reading program is countywide and starts June 1 with rewards for children, teens and adults who complete the reading challenge.
