Library offers Testing and Education online reference center

Studying for the SAT? Applying to Graduate School? Taking a Police or Firefighter Exam? Whitman County Library now provides all cardholders with the tools they need to take their studying to the next level.

With Testing & Education Reference Center, residents have access to an online education resource that provides everything needed to learn more about further education and assists in making informed decisions on their future from one single, handy database.

“Students face challenges in preparing for their future and not knowing where to begin,” says Erica Willson, Whitman County Teen Librarian. “Education success begins with preparation. The Testing & Education Reference Center allows students to discover what to expect and how to prepare, and excel at the next level.”

Testing & Education Reference Center prepares users for higher education and the working world by providing detailed information on private high schools, undergraduate and graduate programs and executive education programs, searchable by location, major, tuition, sports and more. It also features interactive online practice tests for preparatory examinations including entrance exams and certification and licensing tests.
