Congratulations to Maggie Weber of Colton High School and Garfield-Palouse’s Nyna VanHarn! They are winners of Whitman County Library’s Teen Advisory Board (TAB) $200 scholarships. Six $25 scholarships and two $200 grand prize drawing scholarships were awarded to participating Teen Advisors. Proceeds from the WCL and 4-H Teen Dance and generous donations from the Friends of the Whitman County Library help support this honorary program. Teen Advisory Board members are nominated by their school. The 2009-2010 WCL Teen Advisory Board is: Tom Carrothers- Rosalia, Erin Schuster- St. John, Kim Heiner, Colfax- Maggie Weber- Colton, Chris Wargo- LaCrosse, Chloe Rambo- Oakesdale, Jessica Wilson- Tekoa, and Nyna VanHarn- Garfield-Palouse.
